Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Cold
Visibility: Poor
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seals + African penguin
Trip Summary: Today, we braved the strong easterly winds and went to Jubersedam. Despite the challenging weather, we did not let it affect us. While we were waiting, we spotted a few Bronze Whaler sharks. However, we were fortunate enough to end up with three male Bronze Whaler sharks around our cage! After that, we pulled the anchor and headed towards Shark Ally and Dyer Island. We saw thousands of Cape fur seals and also rescued an injured African penguin. The penguin will be rehabilitated in our African penguin and seabird sanctuary. We would like to thank all our guests for joining us today!
