Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Good
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seals + African Penguins
Trip Summary: Another day of beautiful conditions as we headed out from Kleinbaai Harbour towards our dive site. Along the way, we spotted a raft of the endangered African Penguins, residents of Dyer Island, before continuing our journey to drop anchor in the shallows. Once at the dive site, Bronze whaler sharks shortly arrived in front of the cage. Clear visibility and warmer waters meant divers had a great view of the sharks, getting up close and personal with these beautiful sharks! To everyone who joined us today, thank you, it was a pleasure having you on board!
