Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Warm
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks + Cape fur seal
Summary: We were all thrilled to head back out to sea after a few days on land. Our divers were excited to get into the cage and the Bronze Whaler sharks appeared as soon as the chumming process started. The shark activity picked up during the trip and remained consistent. We were happy to see some sharks that we recognized from previous trips. At the end of the trip, a cheeky cape fur seal made an appearance. It was a fantastic day for both of our trips. Thank you all so much for joining us today!

Did you know: Great White Sharks use body language to communicate. As far as we know, white sharks do not produce noises, other than slapping their jaws. Body language has been a well documented form of communication and has identified body arching, jaw gaping, and other postures as specific social tactics.
