Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seal & Indian Ocean humpback dolphins
Summary: Beautiful conditions on the water today with sunny skies and clear waters for our divers and guests on board! Shortly after arriving at anchor we were in the presence of the Bronze whaler sharks. Our sightings continued, with us seeing a total of 3 from the Marine Big 5 just at our dive site! The additional animals spotted included the Cape fir seal and endangered Indian Ocean humpback dolphins. An inquisitive Short-tail stingray came up to investigate the bait line, allowing guests a sight of the world's largest marine stingray! A successful day of sightings, thank you for joining us on board!
